"What A Fun Time"

“What a fun time at horror nights with my baby girl @syraismith, @elidjahofficial my sunny son, and my dear friend @iamstevejones,” Brandy said of her outing this past Friday (Oct. 21) night. “So proud to also see @theweeknd have his own maze,” the recording artist added.

Brandy has been on the recovery side of things since suffering a seizure inside her home earlier this month. The singer was rushed to the hospital on October 12, 2022. TMZ broke the story with information allegedly provided by law enforcement that placed emergency services at Brandy’s home in Los Angeles.

Dozens took to Instagram to send their well wishes for a speedy recovery after getting wind of Brandy’s reported hospitalization. “I really hope Brandy is okay,” one Twitter user said. “This news came so sudden,” the fan added. Several of Brandy’s social media followers agreed.

The ‘Almost Doesn’t Count’ singer took to social media after being released from the hospital with an update for her fans. “To my beloved fam, friends, and starz thank you for sending love and light my way,” Brandy shared on her Instagram Stories timeline after going home to recover. “I am following doctors’ orders and getting the rest I need due to dehydration and low amounts of nutrition,” the singer revealed.

Those who remember the 90s’ boom of R&B hits appreciate Brandy’s songs. The recording artist welcomed her daughter in 2002, and Sy’Rai appears determined to pick up the musical torch and follow in her mom’s footsteps.

“She’s let me grow and fulfill my purpose in the studio and songwriting,” Sy’Rai recently said of the support her mom gives. “She trusts me to bring out a good product at the end of the day,” the budding recording artist added. “I think I’m doing a pretty good job,” Sy’Rai said of following in her mom’s footsteps. “I think when people hear my music, they’ll be pretty surprised.”
