DaniLeigh is on tour with her daughter, Velour. The recording artist shared behind-the-scenes photos of her with her little one earlier this week.
“4 VELOUR,” Dani said of the tour, which is named after her daughter. “For you, my baby,” the recording artist exclaimed. “Thank you to everyone that came out this run,” DaniLeigh wrote to her fans. “Thank you for my team working so hard,” she added.
“It meant the world ‘cause it wouldn’t be possible without that beautiful crowd [in] each city,” the recording artist said of her supporters. “I hope I made a fan forever to those that came out and I’m excited to keep growing and glowing!”
DaniLeigh’s new album addresses her life’s changes that have transpired over the past few months. Since her last project, Dani has become a mother, gone through a very public breakup, and gained lessons that she hopes to pass along to her daughter one day.
“I feel like I’ve grown a lot,” Dani said of her creative process during an interview in 2020. “I’ve grown with my pen for sure,” she added. “I feel like my pen has gotten stronger,” the recording artist said of her songwriting capabilities.
“[I’ve also grown] as a woman,” DaniLeigh continued. “I’ve just grown up more,” she added. “The Plan was when I was 22. I’m 25 now so I’ve definitely gone through more life, and I always have my sound—my sound is my vibe which is like R&B, trap, you know those types of production beats, but I’ve definitely grown. It’s just all growth.”
Velour made DaniLeigh a mom for the first time last July. The little one is her father DaBaby’s fourth child. The VELOUR tour began in Santa Monica, California, last month and ended in Los Angeles, California, this past weekend. You can stream DaniLeigh’s new album on all major music platforms.
