Zaya Wade is stepping out on her own and enjoying fashion season in Paris. The 15-year-old sat solo front row at the Miu Miu runway show in Paris, France.
The grateful teen posted on Instagram, “thank you for having me @miumiu such a beautiful show #MiuMiuSS23.”
Wade, daughter of NBA legend Dwayne Wade and actress Gabrielle Union, is proving that she is becoming quite the fashionista.
If you are following the teen on Instagram, you will notice that she is quickly becoming fashion’s new “it girl” as she models a variety of looks ranging from everyday teen to high end fashion. Therefore, sitting front row solo at a high end runway show for the first time is unquestionably not only a special occasion, but her serious debut into the fashion world.
And of course, for her debut moment, Wade and her stylist, Thomas Christos Kikis, put together the perfect ensemble. Wade wore a plaid mini skirt with a brown leather belt and flesh-toned branded underwear giving a sneak peek above the skirts waistline. On top, she donned a cropped denim jacket. To finish off her look, she wore white leather loafers, sunglasses, and the brand’s Matelassé top-handle bag.
Yet, that wasn’t all. Her makeup was on fire too!
Makeup artist, Esther Edeme gave the teen the perfect high fashion look featuring a crystal-bejeweled cat eye, glossy lips and pink cheeks.
Zaya is truly embracing her beauty and taking it to the next level the way that she wants to do so. Wade has been on a journey that has given her the strength to do so and do so gracefully.
“As a trans person, once I came out, there was a lot of hateful comments about how I should grow my hair out long or fit into a certain version of femininity, even though that’s not true at all,” Zaya said in her 2022 Logo30 interview. “That kind of advice is just trying to break you, but don’t let it.”
Cannot wait to see Zaya continue to evolve even more so into the beautiful fashionista that she is.
