Sire and Sovereign’s birthdays are close. Usher and Jenn welcomed their daughter, Sovereign, in September 2020. Sire was born the following year in September 2021. Usher shared two separate posts in commemoration of his children’s special days. The celebrity father also uploaded pictures from Sire and Sovereign’s birthday photoshoot.

“Good genes,” Joe Fournier declared in the comments section that featured Sovereign walking with confidence during her photo session. “So adorable,” Beija Marie Velez shared.

Not only did Usher and Jenn give their kids a joint birthday party, but the celebrity parents also gave the bash in honor of a family friend’s birthday. “I can’t even handle this,” Hazel-E shared in reference to Sovereign and Sire’s cuteness and growth. “I can’t,” another social media fan agreed. “Too adorable,” the supporter said.

Usher has been enjoying his life as the father of four children. The recording artist has also enjoyed a residency in Las Vegas that fans loved.

“It’s not easy to sustain a career, but there are artists who have managed to do it and have been here for some time: Beyoncé. Alicia Keys. Justin Timberlake. Janet Jackson. And that hasn’t changed opinions about who they are and what their contributions still are,” Usher said during a recent interview with Billboard.

“I just hope I’m in that same category,” Usher shared of his career when stacked next to his fellow artists. “But it hasn’t changed my ability to embrace new artists coming up, like Summer Walker, Yuna, doing duets with Ella Mai or Chris Brown. I definitely understand the reality — and the idea — of embracing [the] new,” Usher told the press.

“There’s always the responsibility to speak to the audience that has been growing with you, and also to a new audience,” Usher shared with Billboard. “What I’ve always done is just try to make music that’s as true as I can possibly be and also offer something I think people can learn from and experience with me: relationships, love, life, the reality of our growth and maturity.”
