Abby De La Rosa does not understand why so many people are concerned about her relationship with Nick Cannon. The expectant businesswoman, who has twins with the entertainer, recently sat down with Shan Boodram of the podcast Lovers and Friends to talk about her blended family.
“I’ve never been hit with thousands of people just telling me their hate for me,” Abby shared of her experience with coming out as the mother of Nick’s twins. The entrepreneur was pregnant with her sons, Zion and Zillion, at the same time that Nick and Wild ‘N Out model Alyssa Scott were expecting their late son, Zen. Abby gave birth to the twins one month before Alyssa and Nick welcomed Zen.
“His track record of relationships at the time had been maybe more intensified,” Abby admitted during her interview on Lovers and Friends. “He had a lover over here that, they were going strong and they had been involved for years,” she shared. “Then he had another beautiful family over here that he has. And then he has his ex-wife, who’s the queen of all queens,” Abby said in reference to Nick Cannon’s ex-wife, Mariah Carey. “People feel so invested,” the businesswoman added.
Many assumed Abby De La Rosa as pregnant with her and Nick’s third child given his track record for having kids back-to-back. The rumors were ultimately confirmed as factual.
Abby hinted at the possibility of moving into a more traditional relationship in the future during her on Lovers and Friends. “I think I see monogamy for myself down the line, and this won’t get me there,” Abby shared with Shan. “But I love where I’m at, at this very moment,” she added. “It’s just not my forever.”
Abby De La Rosa will give birth to her third child in the coming months. Nick Cannon welcomed his ninth child with model Lanisha Cole earlier this week.
