Joie Chavis and Bow Wow’s daughter, Shai Moss, is officially in middle school! The youngster took to Instagram on Thursday (Sep. 1) to commemorate her new journey.

“First day of middle school aaaahhh,” Shai told her social media fans. The youngster also shared her first-day swagger, which included a hairstyle that was nothing short of fierce.

“Princess,” Joie wrote in the comments section of her daughter’s Instagram post. “Dad loves you so much,” Bow Wow shared. “I think I’m going to cry,” the celebrity father added. “You are getting too big on dad,” Bow Wow exclaimed.

It was just a few months ago that Shai Moss celebrated her eleventh birthday. The youngster shared lots of pictures from what appeared to be a weekend-long event filled with fun.

“My big baby,” Joie doted on her daughter. “I can’t believe you are 11,” the celebrity mom wrote to her growing kid. “[I am] blessed to see you as such a respectful, beautiful girl, inside and out,” Joie told Shai. “I am so proud of all you are accomplishing and this is only the beginning,” the celebrity mom declared. “I love you more than words!”

Shai Moss is building her reputation as an actress. The youngster was booked and busy with several gigs last year. In fact, Shai had a part in a film alongside Essence Atkins. The film was about Christmas and got fans excited about the possibilities available for Shai.

Bow Wow was certainly joyous about his daughter’s budding career. In fact, the celebrity father jokingly tagged Tyler Perry on Instagram at one point to shed light on his “mini-me’s” talent.

“Shai is a whole mood,” one social media fan said in reference to the youngster’s lively spirit when guest starring on her mom’s YouTube show, Joie In Life. “Disney Channel, give this girl a show,” another supporter exclaimed. “She’s a STAR.”

Shai is Joie Chavis and Bow Wow’s only child together.
