Congratulations to Nessa Diab of HOT 97 and Colin Kaepernick on the birth of their first baby! Nessa took to Instagram with the news on Sunday (Aug. 28).
“I thought long and hard about sharing our life-changing news today,” Diab began her announcement. “I decided to do so because today is the first day in a few weeks where I stepped out for work with a new life title – MOM,” the radio show host exclaimed. “Colin and I welcomed our amazing baby to the world a few weeks ago and we are over the moon with our growing family.”
Nessa Diab and Colin Kaepernick have been dating for several months. The celebrity couple has kept the relationship away from the public’s eye, which is why Nessa’s pregnancy and birthing experience went under the radar.
“Recovering after delivery has been a journey (more on that later) and honestly I wasn’t going to share anything because this is so personal to us and I realized I’m a complete mama bear,” Diab told her social media fans on Sunday. “Colin is the most amazing dad and I’m so grateful that he is by our side for every moment of this journey,” the radio host shared.
“I know sharing this allows me to connect with you in different ways that I never imagined,” Nessa told her supporters. “My conversations and life experiences have already changed. And my world has gotten that much bigger thanks to our sweet little baby who has shown me how to love in ways I never knew. Thank you everyone for your support as always.”
Many congratulated Nessa on her new life as a mom. “Congratulations,” Mariah Carey exclaimed. “Love you so much,” the legendary singer added. “I knew it,” DJ Drewski beamed. “Excited for you,” the television personality continued. “Tell Colin welcome to the club #DadGang.”
