Jada and Chris Paul’s daughter, Camryn Alexis Paul, is officially a tween! The youngster celebrated her tenth birthday on Tuesday (Aug. 16).
“I love the beautiful Black young lady you are and even more the one you are becoming,” Chris Paul wrote to Camryn Alexis on her special day. “Daddy loves you forever,” the star athlete continued. “Double digits! Can’t believe it. … Happy Birthday baby girl.”
Camryn Alexis is Jada and Chris Paul’s only daughter. The celebrity parents welcomed her three years after their son, Christopher Emmanuel Paul II, was born. Many love the bond Chris Paul has cultivated with his son while in the public’s eye. The celebrity father also builds relationship with his kids away from the spotlight.
“The most valuable thing that you have is your time,” Paul said during an interview in 2014. “I tell people all the time [that] my kids are the most important thing to me and being with them, being around them … anytime I have to go somewhere it kills me,” the celebrity father admitted.
“I hate it,” Chris Paul went on to tell the press. “I hate traveling now because my son is old enough and he’ll tell me, ‘Dad I’m going to miss you while you’re gone. Why are you leaving me?'”
“It kills me to know that there are times when my son will be playing in basketball games or something, and I won’t be there,” Chris went on to tell the media. “That’s one thing that your kids will never forget,” the celebrity father further explained. “They may not remember something about money or something like that, but they will remember whether or not you were there when they needed you.
Chris Paul II and Camryn Alexis get to travel with their dad more often now that they are older. The youngsters also participate in gigs alongside their dad with a more recent feature being that of little Chris with big Chris in State Farm’s ‘The Dunk’ commercial.
