Chrissy Teigen is not a fan of what she calls the “in-between stage” of pregnancy. The cookbook author took to Instagram with a hilarious expectancy update this past weekend.
“The in-between stage is my least fun stage,” Teigen said of her pregnancy journey. Chrissy was referencing her baby bump, which in her opinion is neither small nor large. “Just be huge already, please,” the expectant star jokingly shared. “Also very much love @hairinel in this pic,” Chrissy said as a way to give a shoutout to hairstylist Irinel de León. “Don’t worry we can’t see you,” Chrissy wrote to Irinel.
Fans learned of Chrissy Teigen and John Legend’s expectancy earlier this month. Chrissy took to Instagram with a social media post that showed off her protruding stomach. “The last few years have been a blur of emotions, to say the least, but joy has filled our home and hearts again,” Teigen told her social media fans. “One billion shots later (in the leg lately, as you can see!) we have another on the way,” the Cravings cookbook author shared.
Chrissy and John were reluctant to share the news of their expectancy with the public because of the loss of their youngest son, Jack, who passed away by miscarriage in September 2020. “Every appointment I’ve said to myself, ‘Ok, if it’s healthy today I’ll announce.’ But then I breathe a sigh of relief to hear a heartbeat and decide I’m just too nervous still,” Chrissy revealed in her pregnancy announcement.
“I don’t think I’ll ever walk out of an appointment with more excitement than nerves but so far, everything is perfect and beautiful and I’m feeling hopeful and amazing,” Teigen told her supporters. “Ok, phew, it’s been very hard keeping this in for so long!”
John Legend and Chrissy Teigen’s rainbow baby will join the couple’s son, Miles, and daughter, Luna, at home next year.
