Sterling Shepard and Chanel Iman commemorated their daughter Cali Clay’s fourth birthday on Wednesday (Aug. 10). The celebrity parents wrote beautiful messages to their little one on Instagram.
“Words can’t explain how much I love you, baby girl,” Sterling wrote to his daughter. “Happy birthday,” the celebrity father continued. “I hope you have the best day.” Chanel Iman also wrote a beautiful message to Cali Clay. “Happy Birthday my baby girl,” the celebrity mom wrote to her daughter. “She is 4 today,” Chanel shared with her social media fans. “We celebrate you every day,” the model went on to tell her daughter. “My little blessing.”
Cali Clay Shepard is Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard’s oldest child. The little one arrived months after her parents tied the matrimonial knot on March 3, 2018. Chanel and Sterling welcomed their youngest daughter, Cassie Snow, a year after Cali Clay’s birth.
Sterling and Chanel enjoyed six years of an intimate relationship, which included four years of marriage, before deciding to end their union in January. Chanel recently shared pictures of herself with her new beau, Davon Godchaux, on vacation. the celebrity couple visited Italy and Miami, Florida, with their kids. Some scrutinized Chanel Iman for going public with her and Davon’s relationship. Others, however, celebrated the blended family the model was creating that included her daughters and his son.
“I just love a happy blended family,” one social media follower said in response to a candid of the kids posing while on a beach in Miami. “Look at them,” another supporter exclaimed. “This is so precious,” the fan continued. “Frame this beautiful family photo.”
Some suggested Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux “make it official” with marriage. Neither of the celebrity parents, however, have brought up the notion of matrimony. Chanel Iman and Sterling Shepard’s youngest daughter, Cassie Snow, celebrates her third birthday in December.
