SY’RAI SMITH WISHES HER BOYFRIEND HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND FANS HAVE QUESTIONS

"Where Does He Work?"

Some fans are not ready to let Brady’s daughter, Sy’Rai Smith, grow up. The 20-year-old took to Instagram on Tuesday (Aug. 9) to celebrate her boyfriend Elidjah’s birthday, and a few of her social media followers had comments and questions.

“Wishing the happiest birthday to my better half,” Sy’Rai wrote to her boyfriend. “I love you so much,” she added. “This year will bring you so many blessings and happiness,” the young adult wrote to her partner. Many fans joined Sy’Rai in wishing Elidjah well on his special day. Some supporters, including Sy’Rai’s uncle, requested the two slow down.

“Hey slow down you two,” Ray mused before wishing his niece’s boyfriend a “Happy B-Day.” One fan wrote, ” I love how you love your niece” in response to Ray J’s comment. Another fan focused on a ring that they thought was on Sy’Rai’s wedding finger. “Which hand is that ring on,” the social media follower asked.

Many were happy to see pictures of Sy’Rai and her boyfriend shared on the COZI ambassador’s Instagram page. Still, most supporters were calm in their approach to questioning and eventually accepted the fact that Brandy’s daughter is growing up. Still, there was one fan who unashamedly inquired about Elidjah’s employment status.

“Where does he work,” the social media follower asked. A fan defended Sy’Rai’s boyfriend by saying, “That’s a personal question. Why does it matter?” Unwavered by the scrutiny, the social media follower wrote, “Let’s just say I know her personally, and she doesn’t need to be hanging out with any unemployed guys. I’m still waiting on the results of the background check, fingerprints, and DNA swab.”

Sy’Rai Smith celebrated her twentieth birthday in June. Brandy took to Instagram with a beautiful message to her daughter on her special day. “Solid as a Rock- unconditional loving-spoiled – you make everyone around you better,” Brandy wrote to Sy’Rai.

“Know and believe only the truth, and use thought only to be creative – write in your journal,” the celebrity mom advised her daughter. “Welcome to the 20s! You got this! You were born a vessel and a light to everyone that you encounter.”
