Congratulations to HGTV star Shea Hicks-Whitfield and her husband, Terry Whitfield, who announced the arrival of their son, Beau James Whitfield, last week. The Bargain Block star took to Instagram to share the news of her baby’s birth with her fans.
“We loved you before we knew you,” Shea wrote to her and Terry’s son. “Even when there was just a hope for you, we loved you,” The HGTV star added. Meet our Precious Rainbow Baby,” Shea told her social media fans. “Beau James Whitfield. Weighing in at 7 lbs. 15 oz.”
Shea Hicks-Whitfield and Terry Whitfield announced their expectancy of a child in February. The Bargain Block star shared the news of her family’s expansion with her Instagram fans. “‘We’re changing our names to Mom and Dad,'” Shea began her announcement. “We’re afraid to say that we haven’t been social distancing,” the HGTV star mused.
“We are excited to announce news we didn’t think we’d ever share,” Shea shared on a more serious note. “Of course, we spoke of having children. Yet, there was a certain intoxication of being married professionals whose only tether to the world of responsibility was a sweet little puppy. Yet the question lingered: what if?”
The notion of possibility became a reality for Shea and Terry. “At 44, we’re blessed to share with the world the announcement of this next chapter to the story of Terry & Shea,” Shea told her social media fans. “The premiere date is scheduled for August 2022, and we’re ecstatic to introduce our First Child, [the] brightest star on our team, to the rest of the world,” Shea told her supporters.
The Whitfields revealed the gender of their unborn child to be a boy in March. The celebrity couple also shared pictures from their gender reveal party that included family members and other loved ones.
