Big Sean and Jhene Aiko are basking in their expectancy. The celebrity couple visited his hometown of Detroit after she joined him onstage at Lollapalooza.

“I got a chance to show Jhene and our family my roots (my old house, grandma’s house, high school, etc., in Detroit) and connect the past with the future in a sense,” Big Sean told his social media fans on Saturday (Aug. 6). “Can’t wait for our lil one to get here and see this,” the recording artist said.

Big Sean was accompanied by his girlfriend and Jhene Aiko’s daughter, Namiko, as he revisited his childhood home and the high school he attended during his adolescent years. “Another perfect day with you,” Jhene told Sean. “Happy for y’all,” Kamaiyah shared.

Jhene Aiko has been on the road with her boyfriend and daughter while pregnant. The recording artist joined her partner onstage at Lollapalooza during his music set. Jhene sang a beautiful love song to Big Sean while showing off her baby bump in the spotlight.

“Best part of today was seeing our baby in Momma’s belly and you all showing so much love on stage,” Big Sean told his social media fans after the event. “It took me my whole life to get on this Lolla stage,” the recording artist shared with his supporters. “Our baby on there at 24 weeks in the womb, thank you for this feeling,” Big Sean exclaimed. “Thank you for all the love y’all showed, very inspiring,” the artist wrote to his fans.

Big Sean also performed while in his hometown. “The show we did in Detroit was legendary,” the recording artist shared. ‘Thank you to everyone who came out, sh*t downtown down,” Big Sean said. “[It’s the] type of energy you can only get from home!”

Jhene Aiko and Big Sean confirmed their expectancy of a child last month. The couple’s little one will arrive in the coming months.
