Congratulations to Leona Lewis and her husband, Dennis Jauch, who welcomed their first child together last month. Leona took to Instagram on Tuesday (Aug. 2) to celebrate her family’s expansion.
“And then there were three,” the recording artist said of the birth of her newborn. “Our little Carmel Allegra arrived 22.7.22,” Lewis revealed to her social media fans.
The public learned of Leona Lewis and Dennis Jauch’s expectancy earlier this year. The couple, who married in 2019, shared a photo that showcased Leona’s baby bump along with the caption, “Can’t wait to meet you this summer.” Leona has shared several pregnancy updates since then.
“I’ll never forget my first shoot with the bump,” Lewis said in a recent Instagram post that also featured a throwback picture from a maternity shoot. “This was when I still had a belly button guys,” Leona said of the candid. “There are so many emotional, physical, personal, and professional changes to embrace and as I write this I’m thinking of all the mums and dads out there that go through so much to bring precious little ones into the world,” the singer shared in her social media post.
Leona told her fans five weeks ago that she was headed for the end of her pregnancy journey. The celebrity mom received loads of congratulatory remarks from her supporters upon announcing the arrival of her baby.
“Congratulations,” one Instagram fan said. “Wishing the very best in life for you the baby and your husband,” the supporter continued. “Happy for you, and love you to heaven and back again.” Another of Leona’s supporters said, “So happy for you both! May God continue to watch over all of you and keep you blessed.”
