Masika Kalysha’s daughter with Fetty Wap is growing up right before our eyes! Khari Barbie recently shared pictures from her Paws of Fury outing with That Girl Lay Lay and Royalty Brown that had fans amazed at how much she has grown.
Many were consumed by Khari’s cuteness. “Imagine waiting for your adult teeth and still being so beautiful,” one fan said after seeing pictures of Khari posing with That Girl Lay Lay. “[Her] smile is dazzling,” the social media follower added. Masika also commented on her daughter’s cuteness by saying, “My Big Girl.”
Many know Masika Kalysha from her time on Love and Hip Hop: Hollywood (LHHH). The recording artist quit the show in 2018 after being unhappy with how producers portrayed her on the series. Since then, Masika has been hard at work building her beauty empire, Khari Barbie Beauty, among other things.
“I sell cosmetics and I sell hair products,” Masika said during a recent interview with Atlanta Black Star. “Now my cosmetic sales, people were still purchasing cosmetics, but not as much. The main products that were selling like hotcakes are my hair oils and my lip care,” the celebrity mom added. “This is the perfect time to take care of your hair and grow your hair and not worry about it.”
Some saw the struggles Masika Kalysha endured while trying to build her music career during her time on LHHH. The recording artist got her first record deal when she was 18 years old, which turned out to be tragic.
“As a female who didn’t have proper representation and was trying to figure out how to fund her own career, a lot of these men, even some of these women out here, become vultures and they feel like. ‘You have the void and you need money I got money and so I can manipulate you to do these things.’ And that’s just not what I wanted,” Masika told the press. “So I took a break from focusing on music to focus on making money.”
Kalysha further explained, “I did not want to start putting out music or consistently working until I was financially stable to where nobody could ever try to dangle a dollar over my head. That’s what I did.”
Khari Barbie is Fetty Wap and Masika Kalysha’s only child together. Fetty fathers four kids in all.
