Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are expecting their second child together. According to sources, the former couple will welcome their baby via surrogate any day now.
“Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, the baby will be born via surrogate. We’re told the birth is imminent, within days. Another source says the baby may already have been born in the last day or so. As you know, Khloe and Tristan have been together, broke up, got back together and broke up again over allegations of cheating,” TMZ reports.
A rep for Khloe confirmed the news with people.com, saying, “We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,” the rep tells PEOPLE. Khloé is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.”
Earlier this year, Tristan admitted to fathering a child with a woman named Maralee Nichols. Thompson wrote in a statement on January 3rd, 2022, “Today, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols.
He continued, “I take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son. I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
The NBA star then went on to apologize to Khloe, with whom he shares daughter True Thompson.
“Khloe, you don’t deserve this,” Thompson wrote. “You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years. My actions certainly have not lined up with the way I view you.”
Adding, “I have the utmost respect and love for you. Regardless of what you may think. Again, I am so incredibly sorry.”
Kardashian recently celebrated her 38th birthday on June 27th. The reality star marked the day by doing a photoshoot with her baby girl. “Thank you all so incredibly much for all of the birthday love. I have been overwhelmed with love and blessings and I am so beyond thankful. We took about 400 photos to try and get a few with the girls. Lol this is the best we have but I love them.”
