Jhene Aiko will soon be a mother of two children and a big sister! The recording artist’s 77-year-old father, Dr. Karamo Chilombo, recently revealed that he and his wife are expecting a child. In fact, the Chilombos are expecting a baby boy.

Dr. Chilombo shared a portion of the gender reveal party, which was held last week. In the clip shared with social media, his wife introduced the activity that would reveal the gender of their unborn child. “Okay, so this is how we’re going to know,” the mommy-to-be said. “It’s got blue-pink, blue-pink [in the box]. At the end, there’s three rows. It’s either going to be pink or it’s going to be blue, the bottom rows. The last three slides to come out of the box were blue to indicate a baby boy!
Jhene Aiko responded to her father’s gender reveal party online with congratulatory remarks and a blue heart. Dozens were pleasantly surprised to learn of the ‘Sativa’ singer’s family expansion last month. A fan spotted Jhene Aiko at a local Whole Foods and took to Instagram with the theory of her being pregnant. The supporter was convinced that Aiko was indeed expecting to the degree of causing others to chime in with their thoughts.

Both Jhene Aiko and her partner, Big Sean, confirmed their expectancy weeks after the rumor mills began to turn. “The couple is overjoyed and looks forward to this next chapter,” Aiko’s representative told the press at the beginning of this month. Big Sean took to Instagram to confirm his expectancy. “Whole new motivation foreal (sic),” the recording artist said. “Very grateful God continues to bless us,” he continued. “Thank You,” Big Sean expressed. “Can’t wait to be a Dad.”

Jhene Aiko and Big Sean’s little one will be their first child together. Jhene also has a daughter named Namiko with recording artist O’Ryan.
