Abby De La Rosa is totally fine with her sons, Zion and Zillion, having so many siblings. The expectant entrepreneur recently took to Instagram Live to celebrate her blended family with Nick Cannon.
“Omg, yes,” Abby responded to a fan who asked if she was okay with Zion and Zillion having siblings from so many different mamas. “I grew up with such a STRONG sense of FAMILY,” Abby told the inquiring follower. “I have 14 uncles and aunts and hella cousins,” she added.
“I’m not looking for anyone to understand or agree with my perspective and I’m not speaking on any other family unit except my own, but for me, my children having so many siblings is so cool to me, it’s a blessing,” Abby said of her and Nick Cannon’s family arrangement, which includes other women and their kids with the entertainer. “Children are a blessing in whatever capacity that may be.”
Nick Cannon fathers seven children with four women. He is expecting his eighth child with model Bre Tiesi to arrive in the coming days and recently boasted about expanding his family even further. Nick’s revelation came around the same time that Abby De La Rosa announced her expectancy of another baby, which led many to believe he was the father of what will be her third child. Neither Nick nor Abby, however, have confirmed such rumors as true.
Cannon did, however, celebrate his unconventional family structure that often receives scrutiny from the public. “I love my children. I love the people that I’m involved with. People even often ask, ‘Are you gonna have more, you gonna stop?’ I’m like, those are questions that I don’t, I don’t really even sit around and think about,” Nick shared during a recent interview with Men’s Health. “I’m just walking in my purpose and trying to be the best father and best provider I could possibly be,” the entertainer declared.
Abby De La Rosa is expecting her third child, a girl, to arrive in the coming months.
