Omar and Keisha are celebrating their daughter, K’mari Epps, who graduated from high school last week. Keisha took to Instagram with sweet words for her young scholar.
“On May 25th our baby girl @kmari.epps graduated from High School and we couldn’t be more proud,” Keisha told her social media fans. “You did it my Nīna,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “May God continue to bless, cover you, and bless you in abundance. You are intelligent, trustworthy, graceful, kind, sweet, talented, humble, and giving. A beautiful spirit you truly are. You are a light and a shoulder to your friends and to me also. My best friend!”
K’mari Epps is Keisha and Omar Epps’ oldest child. The couple also has a son named Amir who turns 15-years-old this year. Omar also has an older daughter named Aiyanna.
“I got three different kids, so that’s three different personalities,” Omar said of his children during a recent interview. “There is something with girls — at least in my experience — where there’s this innate connection of the father to have with them,” the actor explained. “They’re calmer when they’re babies, and then now that they’re teenagers and you got a whole different slate of emotions. For years, some of my friends who are older told me just to wait for their teenage years, and I was like, ‘No, my babies, they’re cool.’ And woo! What they said was right.”
Keisha Epps celebrated her life as a mom while writing to her daughter last week. “How blessed I am,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “As you close this chapter to enter another, remember to keep God first, protect your peace, your light and your core, [and] surround yourself with people who help to make you better,” Keisha advised her daughter. “There will be challenges but they are never to break you, only to help shape you. No matter what trend is in or out, keep your walk of integrity as you have!”
“And never forget- mistakes are just another form of GPS to help you better navigate through this life. Work hard but work smarter and as your father always says- discipline and consistency is (sic) key! It’s time to add another mark on the world, my LOVE. LIGHT IT UP!!”
