At the age of 10, Martin pitched an idea that would land her on the big-screen and in the Guinness Book of World Records as the youngest producer in movie history. Through her production company, Genius Productions, her idea became a reality, materializing into the movie, Little. With the movie, Martin earned an executive producer title and a spot as a Guinness record holder.

In addition to on-screen, the talented teen is also an accomplished voice actress. She has lent her voice to animated features such as Dragons: Rescue Riders, Paw Patrol: The Movie, Spirit Untamed, and Vampirina.
Martin is tackling the mission of helping to ensure that her generation is financially literate and responsible with a series of videos, Money With Marsai Martin.
“As one of the most successful and entrepreneurial generations in history, it’s important for us to prioritize financial and literacy and educate young people on the tools and strategies they need to succeed,” Martin said in a past interview.
The talented 17-year-old also stated on Instagram that, “I have been trying to find the perfect financial literacy project for years now. How many of y’all learned about money and finances through trial and error? In my opinion, There are not a lot of books or resources that breaks the information down into small enough bites that we can fully understand. Especially teens like me that our preparing for adulthood. So I teamed up with Verizon Media’s In The Know for a six-part campaign called “Money With Marsai Martin.”

The talented producer headed to Milan for fashion week where she walked her first runway show for Missoni. The actress turned entrepreneur held her own on the runway with seasoned models such as Iris Law, the daughter of Jude Law. Missoni posted of Martin on their official Instagram, “@marsaimartin starred #MissoniFallWinter22 Women’s fashion show – “a tribute to the strength that makes you step out of your comfort zone.”

Most recently, Martin has become the face for the popular make up brand, Make Up For Ever.
“[They’re] all about being inclusive and having everyone of all shades and all different nationalities come together,” the actress told People Magazine in a recent interview. “I’m so grateful to be a part of it and show some representation for the young Black girls out there, and I’m looking forward to seeing where we go from here.”
