Tia Mowry’s son, Cree Hardrict, had her Instagram followers shedding tears of joy after they watched his reaction to gaining acceptance to his dream school. Cree could not contain his excitement.
Tia recorded the moment, which began with her husband, Cory Hardrict, asking their son if he behaved at school. Cree answered his father positively while having a look of confusion on his face. Cory told his son to read what the teacher said about his behavior. Little did Cree know that his father was actually showing him an acceptance letter to his dream school.
It took all of a few seconds for Cree to realize what he was viewing. The youngster burst into tears, which caused his mom to become emotional as well.
“SO proud of @creehardrict for getting accepted into the school of his DREAMS,” Tia told her social media fans. “As a mother, my goal was and is always to support and give my children the opportunities I never had as a child, and this week, BOTH of our dreams came true,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “Congrats, Cree. It’s only up from here. Mommy loves you and we got you!”
Cree is Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict’s oldest child. It was just a few months ago that the Family Reunion star took to Instagram to celebrate her son’s growth. Tia uploaded a throwback candid of Cree that featured him when he was a baby. The actress also shared a present-day picture of Cree.
“Then and now,” Tia said of her son’s growth. “It is so beautiful and bittersweet to watch you grow up, #Cree,” Mowry shared. “I will always be there to hold you and love you, my son! Being a mother is my greatest and first job.”
Cree celebrates his eleventh birthday in June. Tia Mowry and Cory Hardrict have two kids, Cree and Cairo, in all.
