Romeo Miller is a doting dad! The musician took to his Instagram earlier today to share updated photos of his baby girl, whom her refers to as “Baby R”.
He captioned of the adorable snaps, “1 month with my angel Baby R. I’ve lived more life with you than I’ve did in my entire life. You make daddy a better man twin. Te amo mi ángel. #MyHeart”
Last month, Romeo announced that he had welcomed his first child with girlfriend Drew Sangster. In a post, Miller opened up about why he kept Sangster’s pregnancy a secret.
He wrote, “It’s been hard to hold this in, but it was important for us to make sure our baby girl got here safe and healthy before making any announcements to the world during this sacred journey,” Miller wrote alongside a 39-second video of him and Sangster with pink balloons. “Psalms 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.”
Adding, “My great granny always said if you live long enough, you’ll realize that everything (and the best things) are on God’s time, never yours,” he added. “The best Valentines ever. Been waiting for this moment my entire life. Thank you @drewsangster. I’m a #GirlDad babbbbbyyy.”
During a recent interview with EtOnline, Romeo Miller revealed that he nearly missed his daughter’s birth.
“During the pregnancy when [Drew] went into labor I had to fly in town,” Miller said. “I was out of the country. The baby waited for me and as soon as I got there, my baby was here. So, it was kind of like a movie — me running through airports, running through customs and my baby she was like, ‘I’m not coming out until dad is in this hospital.’ And for me, it’s really surreal.”
