Maralee Nichols is reportedly demanding $47,000 per month from Tristan Thompson for child support. The fitness model recently filed court documents that placed her income at $0 with Maralee’s expenses being approximately $22,000 per month.
According to the documents, “With regard to child support, using Tristan’s income of $9.7 million alone and Maralee’s income of $0, Maralee at this time requests guideline monthly child support of $47,424.” Maralee also pointed out that Jordan Craig, the mother of Tristan’s oldest son, receives approximately $40,000 per month to enjoy a “high lifestyle” like Tristan.
“I have made a tremendous effort to reduce my spending,” Nichols shared in her petition to the courts. “Previously, my average month’s expenses for clothing were in excess of $5,000 a month,” the fitness model shares. Meanwhile, Maralee claimed Tristan enjoys a “lavish lifestyle” while not supporting their son financially. “Theo and I are living at a far depressed standard of living than Tristan,” Nichols shared in her documents.
Maralee Nichols gave birth to Theo last December. Tristan Thompson admitted to fathering Theo after rumors of his relations with Maralee went public. “I take full responsibility for my actions,” Tristan said in a statement. “Now that paternity has been established, I look forward to amicably raising our son,” the star athlete added. “I sincerely apologize to everyone I’ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both publicly and privately.”
Maralee Nichols took to Instagram last month to reveal the name of her and Tristan’s son. “Theo, my little angel baby. I named you Theo because it means, ‘Gift from God,'” Nichols wrote to her son. “I had never been pregnant before and had been told I might not be able to have children,” Maralee revealed.
“When I saw you on the ultrasound and heard your little heartbeat, I knew I would always protect you and keep you safe,” Maralee told Theo. “I love you more than you’ll ever know,” Nichols wrote to her son. “You bring such joy and happiness into my life. My greatest blessing.”
Theo is the youngest of Tristan’s three children.
