Three of DMX’s kids joined their mothers in celebrating his birthday this past weekend. Desiree Lindstrom and Yadira Borrego made certain their children honored their late father on what would have been his fifty-first birthday.
“Happy Birthday to You Earl,” Yadira wrote online. “I made sure Your babies didn’t miss this day,” Borrego said. “We Love You and We miss You so much. The children are so happy together. I know You’re smiling down. Keep watching over Us.”
DMX died on April 9, 2021, from complications related to a drug overdose. The rapper previously conquered his addiction but suffered a setback earlier this year.
“Your death have caused so much pain to those who truly Loved You that it seems impossible to believe this STILL,” Yadira wrote online. “We Love You and We miss You so much,” Borrego shared on behalf of herself and her two children with DMX.
“Your energy is truly missed,” Yadira exclaimed. “The kids Love You and You already know big brother Manny @mannyfrmthe305 and @prettygirllriyah_ got @exodus_simmons1 back ForEver! The Family. Keep Living and Shining through All Your children. They are All the Greatest gift You left us behind! Thank You for that.”
DMX’s fiancee, Desiree Lindstrom, also wrote a beautiful tribute to the late rapper. “We shared many birthdays together,” Lindstrom wrote online. “This morning I said aloud, ‘Happy Birthday baby!’ Unreal … today without you,” Desiree continued.
“I miss you greatly, but love you eternally and that holds me down. This is your day. May you be celebrated in both New York and all over the world. Much love.”
