Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert were in full celebration mode this past weekend as the two commemorated their daughter Iman Tayla’s sixth birthday. Iman Tayla enjoyed a fabulous party at The Sugar Factory.
“Three things Junie wanted for her bday: Dinner at @thesugarfactory, an army fatigued themed yacht party, and MONEY for her piggy bank,” Teyana Taylor said of her daughter’s birthday wishes. “Well, I guess you can say MISSION ACCOMPLISHED,” the celebrity mom shared. Teyana also uploaded video footage from Iman Tayla’s birthday bash at The Sugar Factory.
“It was such a dope bday weekend for miss @babyjunie4,” Taylor told her social media followers. “She had a blast,” the celebrity mom exclaimed. “Thank you @thesugarfactory for helping us make her 6th bday magical! It was amazing.”
Iman Shumpert Sr. also took to Instagram to celebrate his daughter’s sixth birthday. “Happy 6th birthday to the head of the household,” Iman mused. “Baby girl, you are truly a joy to our home and to this world,” the celebrity father wrote to his daughter. “May you finally blow out your own birthday candles with a wish so big it can only live in your heart! I love you, baby girl.”
Iman Tayla is Teyana Taylor and Iman Shumpert Sr.’s oldest child. Many became acquainted with the little one while watching the Shumperts’ Reality TV series, We Got Love Teyana & Iman, earlier this year. Iman Tayla had a bold spirit that often brought the spotlight to her. Some criticized Teyana and Iman for allowing their daughter to seemingly run the house. Others, however, appreciated the more liberal parenting style of the Shumperts’ that let Junie Bug operate in her truest self.
“It feels good for the lens to be on me and my family,” Teyana Taylor said during an interview with Maxim earlier this year, “I can look back and know I did a good job as a mom, I did a good job as a director, I did a good job balancing careers, balance your love, things that are important and good,” Taylor told the magazine.
Teyana and Iman Shumpert also have a younger daughter named Rue Rose who celebrated her first birthday in September. The Shumperts celebrated five years of marriage this year.
