Serena Williams and her daughter are mommy-daughter goals. The tennis champion has been sharing candids of her matching her daughter’s attire and the Internet cannot get enough.
“Good morning,” Serena captioned underneath one picture of herself with Alexis Olympia wearing matching pajamas. “Make today your best day,” Williams advised. “What is your morning like,” the tennis star asked.
Several fans responded to Serena’s post with their morning routines. Others could not get beyond the absolute cuteness that was Serena and Alexis Olympia rocking identical pajama sets. “So cute,” Tina Lawson wrote in response to the series of photos. “Just love this mama and daughter duo,” another social media follower declared.
Serena Williams and Alexis Olympia’s matching styles were on full display a few weeks ago. The little one wore an outfit to the King Richard premiere that was in fashion sync with her mom’s attire. “Love it,” Porsha Williams exclaimed. “Little mini-me understood the assignment,” the former Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star shared. “This kid,” Alexis’s father, Alexis Ohanian Sr., said.
Alexis Olympia is already carving her path in the fashion world. “She only wears dresses and she loves to wear heels, so it’s kind of fun,” Serena recently said of her daughter’s fashion sense. “Because when I was younger, I used to love wearing princess dresses as well,” Williams added.
Both Serena and Alexis Ohanian Sr. are focused on teaching their daughter self-confidence and humility. “For me, it’s really about having the humility and also just being the best person that she can be,” Williams said of the values she works to instill in her daughter.
“And having spiritual values means a lot to me,” Serena further explained. “That’s what’s most important,” the tennis star added. “It’s not about what you have materially, it’s just what you have in your heart and your soul.”
