Vanessa Bryant received the support of her daughters at Baby2Baby’s 10th Gala presented by Paul Mitchell. The widow of Kobe Bryant was honored at the event held at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, California, on Saturday (Nov. 13).
Vanessa took several pictures on the red carpet alongside her oldest daughter, Natalia Bryant. The celebrity mom and her daughter wore pink, which was in fashion sync with Vanessa’s younger daughters, Capri and Bianka. “My babies,” the celebrity mom said of her kids’ supporting her at the Gala.
Baby2Baby announced plans to celebrate Vanessa Bryant at its tenth annual Gala a few weeks ago. Vanessa was presented with the Giving Tree Award at the event and gave an emotional acceptance speech that honored her late husband who accompanied her to the 2019 Baby2baby Gala.
“I have to start by saying how much I miss my perfect date today. My husband Kobe loved attending,” Vanessa shared through tears. “Sorry,” the award recipient continued after regrouping. “He loved attending Baby2Baby galas,” Vanessa shared with attendees. “With his big smile, he would look at me and say, ‘Babe, this is fricking awesome. Tonight, I’m your plus one … It’s the one event that I’m not obligated to do anything. I get to be your date, help families and enjoy great food.'”
Baby2Baby is a nonprofit organization created to provide essentials to children living in poverty. Diapers, clothing, and other basic necessities are often given. Baby2Baby is presently accepting new diaper and clothing donations at its Los Angeles headquarters. Those desiring to help families in need may also donate new packages of wipes as well as hygiene items (e.g., shampoo, toothpaste, etc.) formulated with kids in mind.
