"All My Prayers"

Snoop and the family held a viewing at Long Beach Colonial on Sunday (Nov. 7). The funeral service for Beverly Tate was held at YouTube Theatre in Inglewood on Monday (Nov. 8).

“All my prayers,” Viola Davis wrote in response to seeing the funeral arrangements for Beverly Tate on Snoop’s Instagram page. “Sending prayers and love,” Brandee shared.

Beverly Tate passed away last month. Her death came as a bit of a shock to fans as Snoop Dogg previously asked for prayers for his mom but did not specify if Tate’s health improved.

“Mama, thank you for having me,” Snoop Dogg wrote to his mom after her passing. “You taught me how to read and write, how to struggle and fight, and all the facts of life,” the rapper wrote online. “Now you finally got ya wings, mama,” Snoop declared.

The memorial service for Beverly Tate was thoroughly planned and executed. Snoop Dogg and his brothers ensured color coordination by having all family members dress in red. The legendary rapper and his siblings also hired a band to play during the memorial service at YouTube Theatre on Monday.

Snoop Dogg paid tribute to his mom throughout her lifetime. Some may remember the rapper’s song, ‘I Love My Momma,’ in which Snoop expresses a desire to cross over before his mother.

“I hope you bury me instead of the other way around, and I put that on Dogg Pound,” Snoop says in his song. “I made you cry, you made me smile,” the rapper continues. “I just want to say I love you for life and that’s the reason why I’m here now.”
