Mariah Carey’s kids, Monroe and Moroccan, made a cameo in her new music video for ‘Fall In Love At Christmas.’ The legendary recording artist collaborated with Kirk Franklin and Khakid to create the hit single.
In the song, Mariah and Khalid deliver smooth R&B sounds that encourage listeners to embrace love this holiday season. Monroe and Moroccan come on the scene when Kirk Franklin and his choir bring a Gospel feel to the song.
The youngsters give hugs to mom and play with the family dog for a few seconds before leaving the musical duties to Mariah, Khalid, and Kirk. Still, Monroe and Moroccan were present long enough to make their mark. “Perfection,” one social media follower wrote after only seeing a snippet of the music video.
“Mariah is such a genius,” another fan said. “This is an absolute masterpiece,” the supporter added. “It’s so original, complex, and pleasant to the ears. It’s like feeling hugged as you listen to it. Mariah the queen! Khalid and all the others did such a beautiful job as well.”
It is no secret that Mariah Carey is the queen of Christmas. The legendary singer’s classic ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ tops the charts at Christmas every year. In fact, there was recently an uproar on Twitter after a Texas bar placed a limit on the number of times Mariah’s Christmas classic could be played on its jukebox.
Many devout Mariah Carey fans viewed the restriction as a direct sign of disrespect coming from the bar’s owner. Mariah, however, gave a subtle response to the bar’s rules. The Queen of Christmas shared a video clip in which she ushered out the Halloween season and brought in Christmas festivities. “Ready? Let’s go,” Carey declared in the caption of her Instagram post.
