Toy Story was the driving force behind Keyshia Cole and her son Tobias Khale’s costumes on Sunday (Oct. 31). The celebrity mom and her little went out for “Trick or Treat” Halloween fun while dressed as characters from the Pixar film.
Keyshia rocked a costume crafted after the character of Jessie while Tobias wore a Buzz Lightyear outfit. “So much fun tonight,” Keyshia said of her adventures with Tobias. “@tobiaskhale had the best time,” the celebrity mom exclaimed.
Tobias was joined by several of his friends on his “Trick or Treat” hunt who were also dressed up for Halloween. One of the youngster’s “Trick or Treat” buddies captured the spirit of Captain America with a costume that included the Avenger’s iconic shield. “This is their day,” Keyshia said of the excitement that Tobias and his friends had for Halloween.
This year has come with a few challenges for Keyshia Cole who honored her mom, Frankie Lons, with a beautiful memorial service earlier this year. The recording artist was taken aback by her mom’s untimely death as Frankie died on her sixty-first birthday.
“This is so hard,” Keyshia told her social media fans days after getting wind of her mother’s passing. “[I] can’t really even find the words,” the celebrity mom revealed. “I honestly don’t even know how to feel,” Keyshia further explained. “You can never prepare for something like this … Ever,” the recording artist said.
“You will be missed,” Cole wrote to her mom. “It’s crazy because … For weeks I’ve been quoting you, from the goose that laid the golden egg, to calling Neffe shoes slow burners, cause they were bought scuffed up already. Your humor was unmatched! Naturally so funny, that’s what I loved about your personality … we all did.”
Keyshia Cole held her mom’s memorial service in August, which was several weeks after Frankie’s untimely passing in July. Tobias Khale is Keyshia’s son with recording artist Niko Khale. The celebrity mom has two kids, Tobias Khale and Daniel Gibson Jr., in all.
