ANGELINA JOLIE AND DAUGHTERS ZAHARA AND SHILOH ATTEND ‘ETERNALS’ ROME PREMIERE

A Mother-Daughter Affair

Angelina Jolie attended the Eternals premiere in Rome with her daughters, Zahara and Shiloh, on Sunday (Oct. 24). The celebrity mom, who portrays Thena in the highly anticipated film, took the red carpet by storm at the 16th Rome Film Fest 2021 while accompanied by her daughters who were also ready for the spotlight.

Shiloh wore a black dress that was simple yet elegant to the premiere. Meanwhile, Zahara went for a more formal white gown that, when coupled with Shiloh’s black attire, garnered the attention of photographers at the event.

Eternals is the ideal film for those who love the Avengers. The movie begins years after Thanos annihilated half of the planet’s population with a snap of his fingers. Those left behind search for answers only to find that another evil source threatens to wipe out Earth itself. The Eternals must fight to maintain what is left or run the risk of total extinction.

Angelina Jolie shared how she related to her character during her appearance at the Eternals premiere in Hollywood. “She has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),” Angelina said of Thena. “She’s a little uneven,” the actress further explined. “She’s struggling with a lot and she’s not sure she can be what she needs to be. She’s not sure she’s strong enough. She’s not sure she can still defend her family.”

Supporting and defending family are acts with which Angelina Jolie has become well acquainted as the mother of six kids. The actress recently recalled the moment when she realized her status as mom meant she would bring calm to any storm her family would experience.

“I became a mother in my 20s, and I remember something happened to Matt when he was little; it was an injury,” Jolie shared during an interview with Extra. “And I was terrified,” the celebrity mom admitted.

“And I heard myself say, ‘It’s going to be fine. It’s going to be fine. It’s going to be okay.’ And I realized I’d become the person that was always going to make everything okay; not the person that worries, that’s dramatic, that’s upset. I’d spent my whole life kind of in that darker space. It happens in a minute. You become that other person.”

Eternals comes to theaters on Friday, November 5, 2021.
