Zahara stood out from the group because of her decision to wear the gown her mom wore to the 2014 Academy Awards to Monday’s event. Shiloh, Maddox, Vivienne, and Knox were also dressed to impress at the outing.

Angelina Jole portrays Thena in the forthcoming Marvel Eternals film. The celebrity gave insight into her character while speaking with the press at Monday night’s premiere.

“She has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD),” Jolie said of Thena. “She’s a little uneven,” the actress added. “She’s struggling with a lot and she’s not sure she can be what she needs to be. She’s not sure she’s strong enough. She’s not sure she can still defend her family.”

Eternals picks up where Avengers: Endgame stopped. Five years have passed since Thanos caused half the population to disappear with one snap of his fingers. Such an act led to a cosmo effect that now threatens the existence of Earth. The Eternals must fight to save the planet or be destroyed along with the elements.

Angelina Jolie’s role in the film is surprising seeing as how the celebrity does not make it a practice to accept superhero roles. “I don’t usually lean towards superhero or sci-fi films,” Jolie shared during a recent interview about Eternals. “It’s not usually what I’m looking to do,” she added. “It felt like something else was happening in this film, though. It was very character-driven.”

Thena’s character certainly taught Angelina a few things about family and the beauty of fragility. “It’s okay to be both fragile and also strong,” Angelina said when recently asked what she gained from portraying Thena onscreen. “It can be the same person,” the celebrity said.

You can catch Eternals in theaters and on Disney+ on Friday, November 5, 2021.
