Natalia Bryant made her Met Gala debut on Monday (Sept. 13). The oldest daughter of Kobe and Vanessa Bryant wore a 1960s inspired dress that was colorful and absolutely unique.
Natalia left no stone unturned as she wore a hairstyle that perfectly matched her attire. The 18-year-old was definitely ready for her time in the spotlight as Natalia smiled and gave photographers several poses while on the red carpet.
Conner Ivers was responsible for the design of Natalia’s dress at Met Gala 2021. The balloon-shaped silhouette and a train garnered much attention at the event as well as the various colors used to bring the creation together.
“The VOGUE team and Anna Wintour appointed Natalia this incredible dress designed by Conner Ives which will also be featured in the American Lexicon EXHIBIT,” Vanessa Bryant told her social media fans. “Thank you to Instagram, Anna Wintour, and VOGUE for hosting my beautiful Natalia,” the celebrity mom said. “Special thanks to our glam team,” Vanessa added.
Natalia Bryant is making significant headway in the fashion industry. The young adult has already signed with IMG modeling agency and enjoyed her first solo magazine cover with Teen Vogue. This year’s Met Gala marks the first time Natalia attended such a prestigious event without her family.
“I’m an outgoing introvert,” Natalia said during her recent interview with Teen Vogue. “I love talking to people … but part of me is such a homebody,” the young model added.
Although a preferred homebody, the spotlight is something that has followed Natalia her entire life. The young adult’s late father, Kobe Bryant, was an absolute force on the basketball court, which meant Natalia was often in the headlines along with her famous parents.

“Growing up, my parents made it as normal as possible,” Natalia said of her upbringing as the daughter of a famous NBA player. “Thank God they did,” the young adult added. “It’s not, ‘Oh she’s Natalia Bryant, she’s Kobe Bryant’s daughter,'” Natalia explained to Teen Vogue. “A lot of times they saw me as ‘She’s just Nani.'”
