Cardi B and Offset are doting parents. The celebrity couple is in the clouds after welcoming their baby boy on Saturday (Sept. 4).
“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” Cardi and Offset shared exclusively with PEOPLE. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings,” the celebrity couple shared.
Cardi B and Offset announced their expectancy during the BET Awards earlier this year. Some were shocked to learn that the celebrity couple was not planning to have a baby shower. Cardi, however, explained why she and Offset decided to forgo the baby shower in preparation for their second child.
“I’m not having a baby shower,” Cardi B shared during an interview with Stationhead. “That’s why I did Kulture’s birthday really, really big,” the rapper continued. “I just get overwhelmed when I do these big birthdays and I just feel like the baby shower with Kulture’s birthday is just too close,” Cardi explained. “Just to see the same people over again, and it’s like, not doing it.”
Cardi B and Offset’s son will join the couple’s daughter, Kulture Cephus, at home. Kulture made Cardi B a mom for the first time in 2018. The little one celebrated her third birthday in July with an extravagant party that included luxurious gifts from mom and dad. Cardi B gave her daughter a necklace by Elliot Eliantte valued at $100,000. Offset, meanwhile, gave Kulture a Richard Mille watch, which was valued at $250,000.
Cardi B told her social media fans that her husband outshined her in terms of expensive gifts. The celebrity mom was, nevertheless, excited to spoil her daughter on her special day.”Forever my little baby,” Cardi told her fans on Kulture’s birthday. “My cancer queen,” the rapper said.
