"Enough Is Enough"

Lamar Odom has been ordered to pay his ex, Liza Morales, nearly $400,000 in past-due child support, rent, and college tuition. Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Matthew Cooper gave Morales a default judgment against the former NBA player a few weeks ago.

The terms of the judgment were made public on Thursday (July 29). Odom was ordered to pay $380,549 to the mother of his adult children for financial responsibilities that he initially agreed to but ultimately failed to fulfill. Lamar, according to Liza Morales’ testimony to the courts, agreed to pay for their children’s tuition as well as her rent for the lower Manhattan apartment where she resides with their kids. The former basketball player has also fallen behind in monthly child support payments, which also contributed to the astonishing judgment.

Lamar Odom was a no-show in court last month, which prompted both him and Liza Morales to lash out at each other online. “Enough is enough,” Lamar Odom told his social media supporters. “I do not get [a] pension from the NBA until I’m 46. I do not own a CBD line. I did not get paid $40k from Celebrity Boxing,” Odom revealed.

“Am I working? YES,” Lamar continued. “Am I building a solid brand? YES. Do I send my kids money monthly? H*ll yes! Do I support Liza? No!!! And I shouldn’t be made to either! So I will have my day in court, I was never served papers to appear and I will be filing an injunction to this bitter judge’s order.”

Liza Morales responded to Lamar Odom’s comments with facts of her own. “Lamar should have showed (sic) up to court yesterday,” Morales told her supporters. “He could have raised his right hand and provided the numbers and information to the judge,” she added. “Actually, Lamar couldn’t do that because he would have had to lie to the court,” Liza shared.

Lamar Odom and Liza Morales have two kids, Destiny and Lamar Jr., together. Destiny is the couple’s oldest child who celebrated her twenty-third birthday earlier this year. Lamar Jr. celebrated his nineteenth birthday earlier this year.
