Nick Cannon is not having kids out of recklessness. The celebrity father recently revealed during a conversation with the City Girls that he is expanding his family on purpose.
“There’s a lot of people that I could have gotten pregnant but I didn’t,” Nick shared with the recording artists. “The ones that got pregnant are the ones that were supposed to get pregnant,” Cannon added. “You only live one,” Nick said.
Wild ‘N Out model Alyssa Scott made Nick Cannon a father for the seventh time a few days ago. Alyssa’s little one arrived weeks after Nick Cannon’s twins with entrepreneur Abby De La Rosa were born. Nick and Abby’s sons joined the celebrity father’s two kids, Monroe and Moroccan, with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey. Nick also has two kids, Powerful Queen and Golden, with beauty queen Brittany Bell.
“Sometimes I have a little too much fun in my life, and it gets me into a lot of trouble,” Cannon admitted during his interview with the City Girls. “But I embrace it,” the celebrity father said. “I wear it on my sleeve, and it is what it is. I’m one of those people where I feel like people always have to be like, ‘Man, Nick. I need to talk to you. You’ve got to get it together.'”
Nick Cannon previously spoke with Tyrese about his growing family. “At this point, I don’t think condoms are even sold in your community,” Tyrese joked. “So I’m just wondering, what little, small hick town do you live in that don’t (sic) sell condoms on the corner store or gas station, or whatever,” the F9 star mused.
Nick Cannon reiterated his desire to obey his perception of the Bible. “Open that book up right next to you to Genesis 15 where it says to be fruitful and multiply,” Nick told Tyrese with a bit of humor. “And then you can turn a couple [of] chapters over to Proverbs [and see] what Solomon wrote,” the celebrity said.
Nick Cannon has expressed his plans to have more kids without marriage on several occasions. The celebrity father continues to go to great lengths to be present for all of his kids.
