Cardi B and Offset announced their expectancy of baby number two during the BET Awards last Sunday (June 27). The reaction from fans since the big news went public has been nothing short of hilarious.

Some took Cardi and Offset’s announcement as confirmation of their suspicions. Many of Cardi’s Instagram subscribers figured the ‘Money’ rapper was pregnant after seeing several candids in which she hid her stomach with designer bags. Cardi’s pregnancy reveal at the BET Awards was a nod to her loyal supporters.
Other fans could not believe Offset was expecting his fifth child. “Five,” one social media follower said after seeing Offset’s recent Instagram post featuring a candid from his and Cardi’s maternity shoot. “Since when he had five kids,” the Instagram user further questioned.

Offset has one child, Kulture, with Cardi B and three older children from previous relationships. The celebrity released an album in 2019, which addressed his life as a father of four kids.
“Each time, you get wiser and smarter and learn the ropes of being a father,” Offset said of his album during an interview with Billboard. “Each one after is actually easier,” the rapper shared. “The hardest one was my first son, Jordan,” Offset admitted.
“I was 17 and I ain’t have no job, and I was roaming the streets and trying to find myself. It was hard, and I was scared when I first had him because out of all my homies I was the first one to have a kid. Everyone was like, “Bro, you have a kid on the way,” and at first it was like a joking matter. I was scared and didn’t know what to do, and I had to try different things to get the money and survive. But God let it happen.”
Offset and Cardi B are expecting their second child to arrive in the coming months.
