Congratulations to Safaree and Erica Mena on the arrival of their second child. Safaree took to Instagram on Monday (June 28) to share the news of his family’s newest member.

“MR Straittt jr is here,” Safaree exclaimed. Several stars celebrated with the Love and Hip Hop (LHH) star. “Congrats,” Princess Love wrote in response to the news. “Wow, my brother,” Yandy Smith shared. “God bless and congrats.”
Erica Mena and Safaree announced their expectancy of another child last month. The news came as a surprise to many who thought the couple’s relationship was on the rocks to the degree of separation. Erica ultimately filed to divorce Safaree after telling a fan that pregnancy was not easy because she was doing things on her own.

Mena attempted to double down on the notion of Safaree providing inadequate support by praising social media influencer DeVale Ellis for supporting his pregnant wife, Khadeen Ellis. Critics, however, scrutinized Erica for allegedly trying to bring others into her drama.
“Erica and Khadeen are two different types of women,” one critic shared. “Let’s remember Erica will physically and verbally abuse a man quick. None of her relationships have been successful and I refuse to believe it’s every man and not her.”

Erica Mena and Safaree tied the marital knot in 2019. The couple welcomed their daughter, Safire Majesty Samuels, last February. Erica and Safaree’s son is Erica’s third child. The celebrity also has a son named King from a previous relationship.
