Usain Bolt is the father of twins! The Olympian and his girlfriend, Kasi Bennett, revealed they welcomed twins this past Sunday (June 20).
The news came just in time for Father’s Day. Kasi took to Instagram to give well wishes to her partner while also sharing a candid that showed all members of the family.
“Happy Father’s Day to my forever love,” Kasi exclaimed online. “@usainbolt, You are the rock of this family and the greatest daddy to our little ones,” Bennett shared. “We love you world without end!” Usain also shared a picture from the family’s recent photoshoot that featured his newborn twins. The celebrity father gave the names of all three of his kids in the caption.
Several fans responded to the news of Kasi and Usain welcoming twins. “These twins were the best-kept secret ever,” one social media follower told Kasi. “Congratulations guys,” the supporter said. Safaree of Love and Hip Hop wrote, “Yoooo how time fly dis fast … Wowww! Even time fast with the Bolt family! Congrats.”
It was just a few weeks ago that Usain and Kasi celebrated their oldest child’s birthday. Olympia Lightning Bolt turned 1-year-old on May 17, 2021. “Happy Birthday Princess Olympia,” Kasi shared on her daughter’s birthday. “Two became three,” the doting mom wrote online.
Olympia’s birth was big news in the Bolt household and Jamaica at large. Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness tweeted congratulatory remarks upon getting wind of the little one’s arrival last year. “Congratulations to our sprint legend, Usain Bolt, and Kasi Bennett on the arrival of their baby girl,” the prime minister shared.
Olympia’s younger siblings, Saint Leo Bolt and Thunder Bolt, received a lot of attention as well upon the public learning of their births. Although many were taken aback by the news of twins, Kasi and Usain’s supporters were excited to learn of the family’s expansion.
