Ciara, Russell Wilson, and kids are all smiles as they pose for a seires of photos for Russell’s upcoming 3Brand kids clothing line
Russell Wilson’s 3Brand line is coming to Rookie USA Flagship at Union Square on June 24th, 2021. The new kids’ line is being designed, sourced, manufactured, and distributed by Haddad Brands.
Russell provided a lot of direction in terms of the brand’s design. The Seattle Seahawks player is known to love camouflage and inspirational messages on clothing.
“Russell is very, very talented on and off the field,” a source close to the collaboration effort recently shared with the press. “His whole thing is about empowering youth to meet their dreams.”
The number three lots of meaning for Wilson, who wears it on his football uniform. He was a third-round NFL draft choice, and 3Brand is donating 3 percent of its sales to the Why Not You Foundation, founded in 2014 by Wilson and Ciara.
It was just a few days ago that Russell Wilson and his wife, Ciara, opened the doors of Why Not You Academy Charter School in Washington State. Set to open this fall, the school has 100 students for its freshman class.
Why Not You Academy, named after the charity, has been a longtime dream of the power couple.
“We’ve always held the belief that life’s successes start with a good education, but recognize that access isn’t always created equally for all,” Russell and Ciara recently said in a statement. “This school is a longtime dream of ours and it was important for us to find a way to combine traditional classroom learning with community and mentorship-based activities, in order to prepare kids for the real world,” the power couple explained. “Why Not You is based on the idea that it can start with one and our hope is that this school will be the first of many.”
Why Not You Academy Charter School was formed in partnership with Why Not You Foundation and authorized charter public school leaders Garth Reeves and Scott Canfield. 3Brand Collection debuts at Rookie USA Flagship at Union Square with a fashion show on Thursday, June 24, 2021.
