Tamar Braxton and Vince Herbert celebrated their son’s eighth birthday this past weekend. Tamar took to social media to celebrate Logan’s special day.
“An 8th birthday that brought everyone together,” Tamar told her social media fans. “Look how God used this day for all of his GLORY,” the celebrity mom said. “That’s why I love him so,” Tamar added. “Things aren’t perfect but they are GREAT just like GOD is,” Tamar concluded.
Logan Herbert has served as his mom’s motivation since birth. Tamar has especially relied on her son’s love these past few months. It was just last year that the celebrity mom attempted to commit suicide. Tamar was determined to recover for the sake of her son.
“While I was sick, I thought I wasn’t what this Amazing child needed,” Tamar shared with her Instagram fans a few weeks ago. “I was broken, sad, hurt, felt sorry for myself, and wasn’t attractive to anyone, not even my own kid,” the celebrity mom admitted. “Sometimes we put all we have into other relationships. But what about the relationship that we have with our children,” Braxton asked.
Recovering from her suicide attempt required Tamar to view herself in a more positive light. “I’m better than I used to be,” the celebrity mom told her fans. “My kid is finally on the way to happy,” Tamar said of Logan’s happiness. “I’m happier because of it,” she added. “I had to put myself second so he can see that sometimes you being first all the time can hold you hostage.”
Logan is Tamar Braxton’s only child with Vince Herbert. Tamar and Vince were married for 11 years before finalizing their divorce in 2019. Logan was born on June 6, 2013.
