Nickelodeon fans rejoice! Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan and Danger Force return with new episodes beginning Saturday, June 12th!
According to a recent press release, in the season two premiere episode of Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan, Dylan, portrayed by Dylan Gilmer, gets ready to return to Chicago with his mother when a change in the plan causes him to question their relationship. This prompts the Wilson family to help him through his latest crisis.
If you aren’t familiar with the show, Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan follows “hip-hop mogul-in-training” Young Dylan as he continues his pursuit of stardom while getting his family into hilarious hijinks along the way. Dylan is accompanied on his journey for musical fame and fortune by his uncle Myles (Carl Anthony Payne II), aunt Yasmine (Mieko Hillman), grandmother Viola (Aloma Lesley Wright), cousins Rebecca (Celina Smith) and Charlie (Hero Hunter), and Rebecca’s best friend Bethany (Jet Miller).
The show is executive produced and created by Tyler Perry. Michelle Sneed also serves as executive producer. Will Areu and Mark E. Swinton serve as show producers.
Danger Force, television’s number-one live-action kids’ show, geared towards those ages 6-11, will see Captain Man going on strike.
In “Captain Man Strikes Out,” the Swellview hero will go on strike because he refuses to pay for art that he destroyed on a mission. Captain Man’s refusal to pay forces the Vice-Mayor to hire a new hero to defend Swellview: Monsieur Man.
If you aren’t familiar with Danger Force, this popular Nickelodeon show picks up after the end of Henry Danger. The series follows the students of Swellview Academy for the Gifted, (aka S.W.A.G.), a school conceived by Captain Man and brought to life by Schwoz, as they teach the children to learn how to harness their frequently troublesome and sometimes uncontrollable superpowers while fighting crime. The students of S.W.A.G. must keep their real identities a secret from both from their families and villains.
Danger Force is developed and executive produced by Christopher J. Nowak. The show was created by Dan Schneider & Dana Olsen. Cooper Barnes serves as executive producer of Dance Force. Jace Norman, Henry Danger himself serves as producer.
Make sure to set your reminders to tune-in to Nickelodeon on June 12th at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT for Danger Force and at 8:30 p.m. ET/PT for Tyler Perry’s Young Dylan.
