Five-year-old CEO and Philanthropist, Justyn Boumah, is already making history as the youngest nonprofit CEO. As the founder of the 501c3 organization, Heroes and Hearts, Boumah thanked 200 local Las Vegas heroes at his recent Blessing Project Event. Boumah expressed his gratitude towards firefighters, postal workers, police officers, and more.
According to a recent press release, Boumah was inspired by the heroism that he observed during the pandemic taken by these everyday community workers. He wanted to show translate his gratitude in action by launching The Blessing Project. As a part of The Blessing Project, Boumah personally crafts and prepares gift bags with handwritten cards, food, and all of his favorite treats to encourage these everyday heroes who are more often than not overlooked.
In celebration of all that this incredible young man is doing, the City of Las Vegas officially proclaimed May 15th Justyn Boumah Day.
The Blessing Project is just a portion of Boumah’s overall organization. According to their official website, the mission of Heroes & Hearts is to educate, encourage, and empower marginalized communities globally through literacy, leadership, and legacy. Heroes & Heart hosts three major events annually alongside ongoing social events and campaigns throughout the year. The three major annual events that are hosted by Heroes & Hearts include the Around the World Read-A-Thon, The Blessing Project, and Super Justyn’s Giveaway.
It is without a doubt that this truly philanthropic young man has been extremely busy helping others. In a recent Instagram post, he captioned the above image, “In 2020, we raised almost $3,000 for homeless and foster kids and teens around the globe!”
Boumah made sure that he did not let the pandemic slow him down and deter him from doing what was needed even more so during 2020.
Congratulations, Justyn! We cannot wait to see what is next for you. We have a feeling that we will see more of your amazing work for many years to come!
