Alicia Keys and her 10-year-old son, Egypt Dean, are making “pure magic” on the keys. The celebrity mom recently shared a video clip of her singing ‘Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)’ while her son played the tune on the piano.
Egypt also sang the lyrics to the famous song by Annie Lennox. The youngster was in perfect sync with his mom who took the high note while her son sang the lower notes in the harmonious selection. “I love being a part of his practice and I love being his background singer,” Alicia said of the selection. “He is making magic,” the celebrity mom said of her son.
“I love his tone,” Jill Scott wrote online after seeing the video clip of Alicia and Egypt jamming at the piano. “You guys are awesome,” another fan said.
Alicia Keys has been enjoying extra time spent with her family these past few months. The celebrity mom recently took to Instagram to celebrate her kids.
“I’m here for all of this,” Alicia said after uploading a candid of her sons embracing their mom. “One day they will be so big I won’t be able to hold them both at the same time,” the celebrity mom admitted. “But for now, I’m not taking ONE SECOND for granted,” Alicia declared.
The Dean family has enjoyed several trips since the coronavirus pandemic began last year. The weekends, however, continue to hold a special place in Alicia’s heart.
“I really like to make Sundays the time that we can all be together and do things that’s not digitally attached,” the celebrity mom said during a recent interview. “So we play a lot of board games, we’ll watch movies together, we’ll do bike rides and stuff like that.”
Alicia Keys and her husband, Swizz Beatz, have two kids, Egypt and Genesis, together. Swizz fathers five kids in all.
