Nick Cannon and Abby Delarosa celebrated the impending birth of their twin baby boys at their baby shower on Sunday. Held at Japanese restaurant Yamashiro Hollywood in Hollywood Hills, the Club Tummy themed affair was brought to life by event planner Yaneth Events.
“My Club Tummy themed baby shower was brought to life by 2 amazing women. I’m so thankful to my sister @estellamathews and thee best event planner @yaneth.events for literally turning my dream into a reality. The work you both did was amazing! From the cheetah print lighting, to the sign and the Chamoy fountain! Uggh, you both killed it!” Abby shared on her Instagram stories
Abby, who is a Dj and host of her own virtual party called Club Tummy, took over the DJ booth during her event. When she wasn’t behind the booth, the mom-to-be happily danced and posed for pictures with her sweetheart. “When Nick is with the sh*ts. La Chona is a Mexican staple and my love knew exactly what to do,” De La Rosa captioned under a video of her dancing with Cannon.
Highlights of the stylish affair included stunning black and cheetah décor, yummy Mexican treats like Pelon Pelo Rico push pops, Takis, to name a few. Abby’s Club Tummy logo was projected all over the venue to give off a nightclub feel. Guests in attendance danced and played traditional baby shower games such as the dirty diaper game. The top highlight of the party was when Nick gifted Abby with a brand new BMW SUV!
Last week, Abby announced that she and Cannon were expecting. De La Rosa posted a series of photos from her maternity shoot with Cannon and opened up about her “miracle babies.”
She wrote, “Thank you for choosing me to be your Mommy. I know the Lord has destined me and prepared me for the gift of not one but two little angels.”
Adding, “I pray that God give you both the strength to walk brave and boldly in your individual truth just like your Daddy. That God bless you and your brother and guide you into living out your full purpose. Your Dad & I will always be here for you both; in complete unison and support. No matter what this world may throw your way, know that forgiveness is key and what is for you – is for YOU! You both are already so loved and we can’t wait to meet you both.”
While this will be the first children for Abby De La Rosa, Nick Cannon is already father to 9-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe with ex-wife Mariah Carey. He also shares 4-month-old daughter Powerful Queen Cannon and 4-year-old son Golden Cannon with model Brittany Bell.
