Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell are celebrating Good Friday. The celebrity parents took to Instagram on Friday (Apr. 2) to commemorate the Christian holiday.
Good Friday is considered a holy day by Christian worldwide who believe in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. The Gospels of the Bible bear out the story of Jesus’ suffering and death. Triumph comes after the Christian Messiah is buried as he rises from the grave after three days.
Good Friday honors the crucifixion of Jesus while Easter is set aside to commemorate the Christian savior’s resurrection and ascension back to Heaven. Good Friday may coincide with the Jewish observance of Passover, which is held in honor of a different Biblical event.
Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell had their kids along for the day of celebration and reflection. Golden and Powerful wore Easter Bunny ears along with their mom. “Silly rabbit,” Brittany shared along with the picture of her family. “Good Friday,” Bell hashtagged.
Many were taken in by the cuteness of the picture. “Love them as a family,” one social media follower wrote in response to the candid Brittany Bell shared. Another Instagram fan wrote, “Queen is looking like, ‘I don’t want no part of this.'” The little one appeared a bit upset at the time the moment was captured.
Nick Cannon will soon expand his family by two. It was just a few weeks ago that the celebrity father indirectly confirmed his expectancy of twins with his girlfriend, Abby De La Rosa. The celebrity father was present for the gender reveal party at which he learned his girlfriend was expecting twin sons.
Abby’s kids would make Nick a father of six children. The celebrity dad has twins, Monroe and Moroccan, with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey in addition to his two children with Brittany Bell. Abby DeLa Rosa is expecting her twin sons to arrive in the coming weeks.
