Zaya Wade continues to show the world fierceness. The teen recently posed while rocking red braids and wearing a Gucci outfit.
Zaya gave sophistication to the cameras. The youngster struck several poses that spoke of her confidence. “PROUD,” Dwyane Wade exclaimed after Zaya’s photo session. “Y’all can not tell me that unconditional love is not beautiful,” the celebrity father said.
Gabrielle Union also commented on her stepdaughter’s incredible shoot. “Our love is everlasting,” the veteran actress said. “Our support is unwavering. Our fight is ferocious. Our village will always be here, steady and ready to nurture, protect, encourage and uplift,” Union continued. “We love you @zayawade and we are SOOOOOO proud of you,” Gabrielle shared. “Always,” she added.
Zaya’s photo session. She was part of the teen’s conversation with former first lady Michelle Obama. Wade asked Mrs. Obama for advice on how to live authentically. The former first lady delivered words of advice for everyone.
“My first piece of advice is [to] be patient with yourself,” Michelle told Zaya and Instagram viewers. “In the teenage years, and probably through your twenties, you’re going to be experimenting with so many versions of yourself,” the celebrity explained. “All young people are trying on different versions, different voices. They’re learning more about their intellect. They are learning what they love, what they’re good at, what they like.”
Zaya Wade has received attention for living out her truth unapologetically. The teen’s support group includes her father, stepmother, and siblings. Both Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union have admitted to initially not knowing enough to help Zaya navigate life while comfortable in her skin. Such is the reason why the celebrity parents relied on others in the LGBTQ+ community to teach them what they did not understand.

Many have commended Zaya for refusing to shrink back despite Internet trolls who often come with negative comments. The teen celebrates her 14th birthday in May.
