Who would think a baby with incredible abilities and a dragon who is always picked last can save the day? That is the exact picture Raya and the Last Dragon paints.
Raya, the warrior, has a lot to learn about the world and those who are sometimes deemed as outcasts. The story begins with a re-imagined Earth known as Kumandra. An ancient civilization resides in the land that seems to be riddled with strife. Raya is convinced that trust does not exist because of the tension between humans. It takes a dragon who admits she is not the ideal choice for fighting or leading a revolution to open Raya’s eyes to the reality that, perhaps, the world is a disaster because there is a lack of trust.
