PORSHA WILLIAMS GIVES CO-PARENTING ADVICE TO KENYA MOORE

"Focus On The Child"

Porsha Williams is ready to give fellow cast member Kenya Moore co-parenting advice. The Real Housewives of Atlanta (RHOA) star recently responded to the notion of her co-worker getting a divorce.

“This is my first time hearing about that,” Porsha said during a recent segment on Andy Cohen’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “That’s very unfortunate,” Williams said of Moore’s impending marriage dissolution. “I don’t wish having to co-parent on anybody, but if she wanted some co-parenting advice and she was sincere, I would help her out because the worst thing in the world is to have bad co-parenting.”

Porsha Williams and her ex-fiance, Dennis McKinley, have been co-parenting their daughter, Pilar Jhena McKinley, since deciding to end their engagement last year. The celebrities tried to reconcile after she learned of his infidelity during her expectancy. Porsha and Dennis decided that bringing their intimate relationship to an end was the best option in the end.

“A clean break in the relationship [is important],” Porsha told Andy when asked about the important factors that lead to positive co-parenting. “You have to give a true break to the romantic part of the relationship and focus on the child,” Williams added. “If you’re still trying to get back together, it’s gonna mess everything up.”

Marc Daly made it clear that he and Kenya Moore were not trying to rekindle their relationship. “I will always have great care for her and look forward to amicably continuing to co-parent our daughter, Brooklyn, with an abundance of love and wisdom,” Daly said in a statement given exclusively to The Root.

“My primary focus will continue to be helping the underserved and people of color in Brooklyn to recover from the negative impact of the COVID – 19 pandemic,” the New York entrepreneur continued. “This focus will take shape through using my restaurant as a ‘Community Hub’ where positive and diverse perspectives on important topics such as economic empowerment, social activism, and political engagement can be highlighted in a safe and productive forum.”

Marc Daly and Kenya Moore have one child, Brooklyn Daly, together. The former couple celebrates their daughter’s third birthday this year.
