"THEE Main Reason"

Romany Malco is a dad at the age of 52! The actor shared the news on his Instagram on Monday (Feb. 8). Malco did not disclose the name of his partner but instead referenced his son’s other parent as his “life partner.”

“Not that anyone asked but in this pic, I’m holding THEE main reason for my lack of activity on social media,” Romany told his social media fans. “With everything going on in the USA, I wasn’t sure if sharing this young man via social media was the right thing to do,” the new dad added. “But then I figured there are some people who are genuinely interested in my take on the experience of becoming a biological father. So here goes.”

Malco went on to share the details of his son’s birth along with the little one’s name. “His name is Brave,” the celebrity father shared with his fans. “He was born Jan 22, 2021, at 6:52 AM. Breech birth and it all happened within a matter of 5 minutes,” Malco explained.

“After witnessing the entire birthing process, I felt a deeper love for my life partner,” Romany shared with his Instagram followers. “She loves it when I call her my queen. I find it more amusing to call her my baby momma,” the actor mused. “But the love I feel for her now is heightened, something new that I can’t yet describe.”

Brave is Romany Malco’s first biological child. The celebrity also has two stepchildren. “I’m 52-years-old and I’ve never been responsible for anything quite as delicate and precious,” Malco shared with his supporters. “Based on my upbringing and psychological disposition, waiting to have a child later in life feels right,” Romany shared. “Seeing my genes expressed in this little man is fascinating to observe.”

Romany Malco portrays Rome Howard on ABC’s A Million Little Things. You can catch all three seasons of the series on Hulu.
